Kiefer Sutherland stars in spy drama Rabbit Hole

Kiefer Sutherland will star as a master of deception in the world of corporate espionage, who is framed for murder.

Filming has begun in Toronto, Canada for the upcoming spy series Rabbit Hole, starring Kiefer Sutherland for Paramount+.

In the 8 part series, nothing is what it seems when John Weir, a master of deception in the world of corporate espionage, is framed for murder by powerful forces with the ability to influence and control populations.

The case also includes Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) as Dr. Ben Wilson, Meta Golding (Empire) as Hailey Winton, Enid Graham (Mare of Easttown) as Josephine “Jo” Madi, Jason Butler Harner (Ozark) as Valence, Walt Klink (Arctic Circle) as The Intern and Rob Yang (Succession) as Edward Homm.

Sutherland serves as executive producer alongside writer-directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (This Is Us, WeCrashed), Charlie Gogolak (The Sinner, WeCrashed), Suzan Bymel (Designated Survivor) and Hunt Baldwin (Longmire, The Closer).

It screens later this year.

  1. Though this new show is not exactly ’24’ rebooted, Kiefer obviously knows what genre was the most successful for him, so I think most prospective viewers will know what to expect as Kiefer’s acting style does not change much. Eight episodes does seem to be becoming the new norm for streaming services now, which to my mind does provide writers with a chance to tie the series plot together with fewer diversions to stretch the screenplay out to twenty plus episodes.
