This week on Insight, ‘Let’s Talk About Death’ asks ‘How important is it to talk about dying and what happens if we don’t?’

There’s nothing more certain in life than death, so why are many Australians so reluctant to talk about it? This week, Insight asks if we should be having more conversations about the inevitable.

8:30pm Tuesday on SBS.

  1. I’ve never understood the taboo around death or dying it’s a fact of life and certainly nothing to be scared of..I had many conversations about this with my parents and it helped me deal with their deaths. It was with both my parents when they took the last breath.. it was an honour and a privilege to see them leave this life behind and enter eternal peace and rest. To make things easier for me they even had their wishes for their funerals written in their wills which I am grateful for.
There is a saying…the only thing certain in life is death…and taxes. Unfortunately when it comes taxes they can follow you to the grave.
